Over the past few years, YouTube has become a very important resource for watching videos and listening to music for free. It is the second biggest Search Engine right now, only behind Google. Coincidentally, Google owns it as well so it comes as no surprise.

I think everyone will agree that YouTube has helped a lot of people. There are so many tutorial videos for almost anything you can think of. Often though, there is an issue. The sound quality on YouTube lately has been quite poor. It’s quite obvious that the audio files are compressed excessively. You could try maximizing the video quality. The standard setting is usually based on your Internet connection but you can expect it to be 360p. If the video was only uploaded at 240p, to put it simply, just close the video and put on another one because the quality will be truly shocking.
Try switching to 720p as that makes a massive difference but is sometimes not available and takes a long time to buffer. If you do want to watch 720p quality videos, just make sure your Internet connection is good enough. There’s also a way to automatically set your settings so YouTube will always play the highest quality available. Read more about this by clicking here.
I do think YouTube should have minimum requirements for uploaders. I can live with 360p if 720p isn’t available but 240p in absolutely ridiculous in this day and age.
